CIP is the investor behind Star of the South – Australia’s most advanced offshore wind project off the coast of Gippsland in Victoria. CIP entered Australia in 2017, investing in offshore wind and helping to pioneer the industry locally. Since then, CIP has grown its Australian development pipeline to more than 30 GW across onshore and offshore wind, green hydrogen, pumped hydro and battery storage.
